Two couples can stay from as little as Euro 85 per night (minimum stay 2 nights) in one of nine luxurious rental properties on our 97 acre estate on the island of Inish Beg in the River Ilen Estuary; just four miles from Skibbereen and 3.5miles from the popular seaside village of Baltimore. We are less than 1.5 hours drive from Cork city.

The estate has acres of well managed woodland with beautiful riverside walks and carriage drives, landscaped gardens which are open to gardening clubs and is open for the West Cork Garden Trail, an organic farm, a walled garden and orchard. You can purchase eggs, vegetables and honey when available. Truly a nature lover’s haven!

Guests at any of the nine rental properties on the estate are welcome to use the heated indoor swimming pool and exercise rooms. All properties have open fires or wood-burning stoves with timber supplied; T.V., DVD and video and guests are welcome to borrow videos from the huge video library.

As well as the great selection of pubs, restaurants, art galleries and shops within ten minutes drive there are numerous leisure activities on offer and a myriad of places of historical and other interest to visit in the locality. A ferry trip to one of the inhabited islands off our coasts always proves popular as does an afternoon sailing around the sheltered waters around Carbery’s 100 isles aboard the beautiful Inish Beg yacht or a whale watching trip outside Baltimore Harbour. For those in search of more energetic pursuits, there’s scuba diving, inshore sea-kayaking, or a great day out aboard a skippered Rigid Inflatable Boat.

Groups are also welcome as Inish Beg has become an increasingly popular destination for all sorts of gatherings, such as Weddings, Family Reunions, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Engagements, Pre-Wedding celebrations …..as together our nine properties can accommodate 44 people and The Boat House, is ideal for all kinds of get-togethers in a luxurious, modern, intimate and secluded location.
