Our newest rental property – The Gypsy Retreat - two authentic and fully fitted adjoining Roma Caravans originally built in 1988 by Baz Warters and his team at Roma Caravans which have been restored to their former glory. One comprising of a bedroom with ensuite toilet and washroom and the second comprising an open plan kitchen/dining/living room. The Gypsy Retreat also has its own victorian outdoor roll top bath with piping hot water, perched atop a wooden decked area. In its own private wicker fenced garden in a sylvan setting on the estate, The Gypsy Retreat oozes bohemian and quirky charm and will appeal to both young design-savvy guests and the older hipster! Not suitable for children but ideal as a romantic getaway.

Our minimum stay is 2 nights except during Christmas/NewYear/Easter holidays and on bank holiday weekends when a minimum 3 night stay applies.
NOTE: Couple will need to snuggle as the double bed is not large (38 x 72inches). It may not be suitable for tall people over 6ft

Spent a wonderful two nights here indulging in large amounts of swimming in the pool, steaming in the steam-room and midnight bathing in the vintage outdoor bath! We came all the wayfrom Clonakilty :) and felt like we had travelled to moon. Going home ultr-relaxed after a wonderful stay in the woods. We took a ferry to Sherkin and that evening kayaked by starlight on Lough Hyne. We bathed in the outdoor bath undert the stars and the bats! Wonderful, wonderful getaway. Thank you so much. Spent the evening with my 6 year old, the night before my wedding. She found it to be such an amazing adventure. An enchanting four days in the Gypsy Roma Caravan. The wonderful walks through woodlands, walking to the showere through the walled garden, swimminng in the pool, bathing in the private outdoor bath at dusk and the peace and quiet.
