Following the acquisition in 1997, Inish Beg Estate converted to organic farming. After a 3 year conversion program, the estate was recognised as organic by The Organic Trust.
Our flock of chickens roam free during the day and are kept in an enclosure at night – safe from the fox!
Take in the atmosphere of a traditional Irish farm while enjoying your holidays in County Cork Ireland. The 97 acre/39.25hectare Estate includes 42 acres/17 hectares of woodlands and 42 aces/17 hectares is a working farm, mainly dedicated to sheep and the growing of organic oats for a famous porridge maker.
You will also find a couple of friendly Sheltland ponies roaming around the farm.
When available from our farm and gardens, we can supply: free range eggs, vegetables, herbs, honey, apples and summer fruits, homemade cakes and pies, salads and picnic food
