We loved our stay here in The Courtyard Cottages, Inish Beg. It is a truly wonderful spot. The kids loved the fairy trail, the animal and pirate trails too. It was a great way to see the whole area. We also rented the Garden Retreat, The Foresters House and The Gypsy caravan for other family members and everything hit our expectations. I was so excited to see the cottage when we arrived. We had great fun finding the pirates in the woods. The pool is seriously lovely and warm. Thank you for a short but magical stay. A sensory treat and a break away from the madness of the world. Most lovely and accommodating hosts facilitating a late swim in the pool and also in the steaming outdoor bath - sodden with rain - the moon peeping through the trees. Spent a wonderful two nights here indulging in large amounts of swimming in the pool, steaming in the steam-room and midnight bathing in the vintage outdoor bath! We came all the wayfrom Clonakilty :) and felt like we had travelled to moon. Going home ultr-relaxed after a wonderful stay in the woods. An enchanting four days in the Gypsy Roma Caravan. Great time visiting all my old memories and making new ones. We came to stay during Storm Dennis and still enjoyed the beauty of the area. Inspired by the amazing light to restart painting. I had a lovely time in the lodge. I loved your dog, Titus. I had a great time in the swimming pool. I went to my cousin's house who stayed one of the I went on the fairy trail and pirate trail. I petted the small ponies. I called the biggest one Chocolate and the smallest one Brownie. It ws my cousin's birthday. She was 7. The lady in the office gave us a magic candle. I love the lodge. The Foresters is peaceful and quiet - an ideal place to get away from it all. At the same time the estate is very close to Skibbereen and Baltimore for shopping and eating out. It has the best of both worlds. The space is brilliant for families like ours. The pool is absolutely fabulous and the kids loved it. The estate walks and trails are fun and great to have.
